My contention is to show the importance of translation that changed the reception and evaluation of the so-called doctrine first taught in Anglo-american campus. What appeared first as a unified empiricist doctrine of analysis of language has become a dynamic program with a social planning dimension for all the branches of empirical sciences ( conceived on the French 18th model of encyclopaedia, as conceived by Otto Neurath ). These changes have in turn generated new investigations into the founding texts of the original Circle in the light of Wittgenstein's Dictations (1931) to Waismann and Schlick (dissident of the earlier Circle) we also edited in collab. with Gordon Baker. This reevaluation was proposed recently by Pierre Wagner and myself on the basis of an exhibition of the Vienna Circle in Paris 2023 ('Paris CIté, Fr. Stadler and Karl Sigmund). It is now available in Archives Poincaré (Philosophia scientiae, publ. Kimè 2025). Contextual factors linked with language of translation help the reader to take the measure of main differences between two interpretations of the same Vienna Circle in function of the history of migration of Ideas from one continent to the other.
